The project "Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. RT " was presented to the Minister of Culture

Branch organization "Russian military-historical society" in the Republic of Tatarstan took part in a video conference with representatives of regional offices of RVIO(Russian Military-Historical Society) .

The conference was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Culture of Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian military-historical society Vladimir Medinsky. From our republic  it was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the regional branch in Tatarstan RVIO  Vasil Shaykhraziev, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Sibagatullin, executive director of the regional branch of RVIO RT, CEO of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulchachak Nazipova.

Opening the virtual meeting, Vladimir Medinsky  said that the Russian military-historical society is present today in almost all regions of the country. RVIO number now stands at more than 5 thousand people.

Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation spoke about the project "Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. Republic of Tatarstan ", which for two years has become an important information resource for thousands of users. The site is supported  by  correspondent centers operating in Kazan and regions of the republic. Geography  of visitors cover more than 55 countries.

The Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War - is not  just a Book of memory, but  it is  also a corps of museum, archive and library collections, photos and videos related to the participants and war veterans, home front workers and search organizations.

The museum site makes it possible to use its resources in the school curriculum - on the lessons of courage and history.
