The Republican festival of folk art of Finno-Ugric peoples of the Republic Tatarstan "We are branches of the one tree" to be held in Naberezhnye Chelny

November 14, 2015,  in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny a  Republican festival of folk art of   the Finno-Ugric peoples of the Republic  Tatarstan "We are  branches of the  one  tree"  will be held.

The main purpose of the festival - to promote revival, preservation and promotion of indigenous culture - traditions, customs and crafts of Finno-Ugric Peoples in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republican Center of Traditional Culture, the House of Friendship of Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan. One of the main organizers of the festival is the House of Friendship of Peoples "Rodnik (Spring)"  in Naberezhnye Chelny, which received a grant from the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan to support projects of creative collectives of municipal institutions of culture and art to carry out the national festival of folk art of  the Finno-Ugric peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan  "We are  branches of the  one  tree" (author - V.M.Bilyk).

The Finno-Ugric peoples are distinguished by their unique culture, traditions, customs and crafts. Finno-Ugric group includes more than 30 nationalities - Estonians, Lithuanians, Latvians, Finns, Karelians, Livonians, etc. Highlights  are   Udmurts, Mari and Mordovians,  who live in the Republic of Tatarstan  by  whole populations, preserving their culture, traditions and language, passing on from generation to generation, its rich spiritual experience and amazing craft.

Within the festival  at  the Palace of Culture "Energetic"  master classes in singing, dancing skills, master classes on ritual traditions with specialists ethnographers of the Republic of Mari El, Mordovia, Udmurtia  will be held.

Teachers:

- Kinyakina Ludmila  Viktorovna , assistant professor of folk music of the Institute of National Culture VPO "Moscow State University after  N.P. Ogarev." Actress-soloist of the ensemble of  Cossack song "Razguliay";

- Pchelovodova Irina Vechyaslavovna, Research Associate of  the Udmurt Institute of History, Language and Literature. Head of  ethnographic folklore ensemble "Chipchirgan"  of the  Udmurt State University.

- Solovyova Maria Lazareva, teacher, choreographer and ballet master,   director of the ensemble "Mari pamash."

Festival guests will be able to visit an exhibition of handicrafts,   arts and crafts  by masters of Naberezhnye Chelny.

The  House of Peoples’ Friendship "Rodnik " will hold round table with participation of representatives of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republican center of traditional culture,  heads of the national-cultural associations of the Assembly of the Peoples Republic of Tatarstan, the representatives of the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

The republican folk festival of Finno-Ugric peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan  "We are  branches of the one  tree," to be completed  by a gala concert at the House of Culture "Energetic" with the participation of folk groups,  and all the invited guests of the festival. Participants of the festival will be awarded with diplomas and prizes.

The event starts - 9.00, a gala concert - 16.00.
