Projects of Tatarstan museums among the finalists of the first round of the festival "Intermuseum-2017"

May 25,  in Moscow,  the annual International Festival "Intermuseum-2017" is due to open. It will unite on one site more than 300 museums from Russia, countries of near and far abroad.

"Intermuseum" is a platform for experience exchange, an opportunity for museums to show their achievements, and for festival guests - to get to know them.

The festival has been held by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation since 1999 and is the main event in the museum life of the country. The main theme of the forum this year is the Museum of the Future. Its  program includes an exposition part, business and cultural programs, as well as a competition for participating museums.

From Tatarstan, more than 10 museums submitted applications for participation in it. The projects of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve "Ostrov-grad Sviyazhsk", the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Elabuga State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, the State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum- Reserve "Kazan Kremlin".

The winners at this stage were given the opportunity to present their organizations at the exposition of the festival in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh",  and continue  fight for the prize in one of the four nominations of the contest.

The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan presented two projects at the festival: "Interregional Reconstruction Festival" East-West: Russian Domestic Wars "in  nomination" The Best Project aimed at social interaction "and" Virtual Internet Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. (Http://tatfrontu.ru/) "in  nomination" The best project in the field of information technologies ". Both went to the second round of the festival and participate in the final selection.

In addition, the staff of the RT National Museum will take part in the round table "Staff reserve of museums and  development of mentoring system, and the section "Museum of the future in the era of culture of participation. Practices for the development of participatory approaches in traditional museums. "

As part of the cultural program of the festival, the stand of the   RT NM  will be able to take part in master classes in pottery.
