On the eve of the 72nd anniversary of the Great Victory, Tinchurin Theater will present the play "We Are the Children of the Forty-First Year"

On the eve of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after Karim Tinchurin will show the play "We Are the Children of the Forty-First Year" based on the story of the same name by Mukhammat Magdeyev.

In M. Magdeev's novel "We are children of the forty-first year", which was written in 1968, the life of teenagers, students at  the pedagogical college  during the Great Patriotic War is shown.

The work was published in 1969,  in a magazine "The Lights of Kazan". Then three more times it appeared in collections, and twice it was printed in Russian (in Kazan and Moscow). A small work, filled with subtle humor, written in a sharp tongue, was perceived by readers and critics as a new phenomenon among Tatar prose. With the story "We are the children of the 41st year" M. Magdiev becomes a member of the Writers' Union of the USSR.

The director of the performance is Rashid Zagidullin. Cast: Aysilu Musaljamova, Guzel Galiullina, Artem Piskunov, Ilfak Khafizov, Bulat Zinnatullin, Zulfat Zakirov.

The showing  will be held on May 4, at 12.00.
