The Day of Russia on the island-city makes a landing more than 150 musicians composed of professional choirs from Moscow, Pushkino, Dubna, Obninsk, as well as artists of the State Chamber Choir and the State String Quartet of RT. On two floors there will sound orthodox and classical music.
June 17, at the open-air stage, located in (Pushechny dvor) the Cannon yard of the Kazan Kremlin will sound the first time, in a fully, a grand Mass in the world "The Armed Man" by Karl Jenkins - the work of a powerful anti-war, humanistic orientation. Hour and a half composition, created in 1999 and dedicated to the victims of international and local conflicts, will be performed by the RT State Chamber Choir under the direction of Milyausha Tamindarova, Academic Choir of Russian State Humanitarian University (Moscow) by Boris Tarakanov, a chamber orchestra "New Music" (conductor - Anna Gulishambarova) and the brass band of the Kazan military school under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Ian Smith. Performance will be accompanied by visuals. More than 150 artists will take part in the concert.
Admission to all concerts is free.
