The project "Gold museum hour for" special "children" has started on March 30 at the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve which is implemented by Elabuga state Museum Reserve jointly with the Center for Curative Pedagogics "Miracle babies" in Naberezhnye Chelny.
On that day, accompanied by their parents pupils of the Center - children with mental health disorders have arrived at Yelabuga. The employees of Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve held workshops for kids in interactive workshops and museum-workshop of arts and crafts, and organized a trip on a horse-drawn carriage through the streets of the historic center.
On March 31, in the framework of the project a workshop at the Museum-workshop of arts and crafts the pupils visited the rehabilitation center "Astra" in Yelabuga.
The aim of the project "Gold museum hour for" special "children" is the social adaptation of children with severe mental disorders and social isolation of their families through the creation of products of arts and crafts, master classes on a par with professional artists. It is particularly important that the project will help to attract public attention to this issue. Within the project it is planned not only a complex of workshops, but also the cycle of meetings with doctors, teachers, psychologists, as well as the development of rehabilitation programs and training of students - the future psychologists - working with "special" children.
Parents, who brought their children to the ESMR museum, mark the great importance of such events for their families, especially since previously there was none.
Employees EGMZ decided to transfer from April 1, 2016, one ruble from each ticket sold to the center of therapeutic pedagogy "Chudo deti (Miracle babies)". On April 2, World Day of Spreading Autism Awareness, the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve will join the action "Light blue", in which from 17PM to 22PM the building of Directorate-air museum, art gallery exhibition hall, museum of history of the city, will be highlighted blue, press office of the Yelabuga state museum-reserve informs.
