The XXXIII International Opera Festival named after F.I. Shalyapin to take place on the stage M.Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera Ballet from February 1 to 17, 2015

The XXXIII International Opera Festival named after F.I. Shalyapin  will  take place on the stage of M. Jalil  Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet   from February 1 to  17, 2015. On the opening day of the festival, February 1, celebrations to mark the 140th anniversary of Kazan Opera are to be held.

The XXXIII F.I. Shaliapin Festival program will make up best performances  by  M. Jalil  TASTOandB  of  recent years - the opera "Turandot", "Evgeni  Onegin", "Rigoletto", "Aida", "La Traviata," "Carmen," "Madame Butterfly", "The Barber of Seville ". The program includes the premiere of the season - the opera "L'elisir d'amore". On the day of the birth of Fyodor Shaliapin, the  opera "Boris Godunov" will sound on the scene. Anticipated event will be a concert performance of Gershwin's opera "Porgy and Bess". The festival traditionally  to be  completed  by  two gala concerts,   in which  the opera stars of world renown  take part.

Opera Forum retains its concept of "festival voices" - the main party in all the plays is performed by guest soloists from Russia, Europe and the United States. Among them are masters of world opera Albina Shagimuratova (M. Jalil TASTOB; Metropolitan Opera), Mikhail Svetlov - Krutikov (Metropolitan Opera), Mikhail Kazakov, Agunda Kulaeva, Alexey Tikhomirov, Andrei Grigoriev (Bolshoi Theatre of Russia), Elena Maximova (Vienna state Opera), Basil Ladyuk, Alexei Tatarintcev, Alexander Saulsky-Shulyatyeva, Oleg Didenko (Moscow Novaya Opera n.a. E.V.Kolobov), Boris Statsenko, Miriam Clark, Sisheng Yee, George Oniani, Pavel Kudinov (Germany), Derrick Lawrence, Lester Lynch, Neil Nelson, Indra Thomas, Celia Sotomayor (USA), Ronald Summ  (UK), Susanna Branquini, Dario di Vietri,  Annunziata   Vestri (Italy), Katerina  Goncharova Oksana Shilova, Larisa Shevchenko, Ahmed Haggadah,  Vladimir Moroz Victoria Yarivaya, Ekaterina  Sergeyeva, Sergey Skorohodov (Mariinsky Theatre), Jannat Baktay, the winner of the show "Big Opera" on the TV channel "Russia-Culture" Saltanat Akhmetova (Astana Opera), Oksana Kramareva,  Sergei Kovnir (National Opera of Ukraine n.a.T .Shevchenko), Yevgeny Afanasyev (Moscow Musical Theatre  n.a. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko), Dmitry Ovchinnikov (Helikon-opera), Artem Golubev (Primorsky  Theatre of Opera and Ballet) and others.

Troupe of Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater will presented   by  Mikhail Kazakov, Albina Shagimuratova, Venera  Protasova,  Yuri Ivshin,  Oleg Machin, Svetlana Smirnova, Gulnora Gatina, Yuri Petrov, Zoe Tsererina et al., As well as artists of the choir, orchestra, ballet theater. The conductors   to be  performed  by  such conductors as Renat Salavatov (TASTOB n.a. M.Dzhalilya), Marco Boemi, Stefano Romani (Italy), Vincent de Kort (Netherlands), Alla Moskalenko (Ukraine), Vasily Valitov (Moscow Novaya Opera Theatre them. E.V.Kolobov).
