The project "Literary Yard" hosts Poetry festival

In Kazan, in the park "Istanbul", Poetry festival was held. The event is dedicated to the Year of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and organized on the eve of the Day of the city of Kazan and the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was opened by the Head of Administration.   the New Aviastroitelny and Savinovsky districts of Kazan Timur Alibayev. According to him a Square "Istanbul" came in response to a good start of the Turkish friends of the Republic: in Istanbul on the bay "Golden Horn" a monument Gabdulla Tukai has been installed.

"A special tradition has developed in Kazan, many years ago, to like  reading a book, to love all that is connected with literature, poetry, art. And this good tradition, today we are a continuation, "- said the deputy head of the Executive Committee of Kazan on Social Affairs Laila Fazleeva.

Poetry festival gathered creative intelligentsia of the republic, the descendants of the Tatar culture "Dynasty", including descendants of famous poets and writers of the republic Nabi Dawley, Fatih Karim Nouri Arslanova, Abdurahman Absalyamov. They were reading  the  works  by famous ancestors. Granddaughter of the famous writer, veteran, winner of the State Prize Tukai Abdurahman Absalyamova,  Albina Absalyamova read two poems dedicated to his grandfather, and Istanbul.

A special guest was the representative of the Turkish Diaspora - Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Tatarstan Mr. Mehmed Maggi.

The event has completed by a triumph song "Min yaratam blue, Tatarstan" performed by all participants of the festival.
