In Volgograd city a festival to be held in memory of Vladimir Vysotsky - Korfest on the Volga

July 25-28, the festival will be held in Volgograd  in  memory of Vladimir Vysotsky - Korfest on the Volga.

Youth Creativity Festival in Memory of Vladimir Vysotsky on the Volga is   held at the  initiative of the Volgograd Oblast Children NGO Yacht Club "Parus " named after V.S. Vysotsky and Administration of the Volgograd city every year since 2003 at the weekend, following the July 25 on the waterfront n.a.  V.S. Vysotsky in the Kirov district of the city of Volgograd.

Goals of the festival:

- To involve the youth of the city of Volgograd and Volgograd region for   poetic songs and creativity;

- Encouraging the development of skills of performers of  authors  song, as well as new creative talents;

- Promotion of Vladimir Vysotsky   creativity.

Volgograd Festival aims to glorify the city of Volgograd and attract the attention of the public around the world to educate the younger generation in the spirit of citizenship and patriotism, initiation to the national culture.

Participants of the festival are the authors of poetry and (or) music, singer-songwriters and performers of author’s song (soloists, duets, ensembles) of the Volgograd region and other regions, as well as special guests of the festival.
