From July 8 to14, in the context of Cultural Universiade and XXVII World summer Universiade, a Tatar state Academic theatre after G. Kamal will present 7 performances in Tatar, Russian, English, Spanish and French languages. Galiaskar Kamal theatre – the only theatre in Kazan, which provides synchronic interpretation of a production simultaneously in 4 languages .
The cycle of performances opens is opened by a «visit card» of the theatre –performance «Golubaya shal (Blue shawl)» by Karim Tinchurin.
This play became a kind of symbol of Tatar theatre. Audience interest is not weakening to it, the play since last has acquired a legendary status. It does not leave the stage since 1926. In this weak, from literature point of view, play, there exists a poetic cipher, coding eternally young and eternally beautiful images of man’s and women’s national ideal, rebellious spirit of nation, love to native land. In order to understand a phenomena of Tatar theatre – it is necessary to see «Blue shawl», to perceive it not at the level of event, but tuned on its powerful emotional wave.
The performance goes in Tatar language and synchronically is interpreted into Russian, English, Spanish and French.
Within the Cultural Universiade, on July 13, a performance of Kamal theatre – «Gergery sons –in-law » by Tufan Minullin will be shown - ethnographic comedy from life of Kryaschen Tatars, full of music, songs and dances. This is a music comedy, which has been going always full house for already 18 years.
In July, the performances «Late summer» with participation of maitre of the theatre; last season premiere of Chinese director Ma Djekhyan «Princess Turandot», «Brave girls» by classic of Tatars drama Tazi Gizzat, last time «Black cloak» the performance, having conquered for 11 years many awards and love of audience will be possible to see on the stage of G. Kamal theatre.
The cycle of performances of the Cultural Universiade will be finished by staging of chief director of the theatre Farid Bikchentaev on play by Fatkhi Burnash «Young hearts» . This is touching comedy about youth and love, written still in times of the First world war. Director Farid Bikchentaev introduced vocal-dance items with a live orchestra music to the performance, the play turned into a scintillating comedy with a powerful energy of youth.
