Several projects from the Republic of Tatarstan immediately won the National Event Tourism Award Russian Event Awards - 2019

The project of the Yelabuga State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve - Spasskaya Fair was awarded the Grand Prix in the nomination "The best tourist event for  popularization of folk traditions and crafts."

The Gallery of Modern Art of the State Museum of Fine Arts is recognized as the best museum and exhibition complex for holding a tourist event in Russia. The 1st place in the nomination “The best interactive program of a tourist event” went to the Bal-May Gastronomic Festival (Bulgar).

The second place in the nomination "The best tourist event in the field of culture among cities with a population of over 100,000" was awarded to the International Fanfare Kazan Brass Band Festival (organized by the Kazan Kremlin State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve), and in the nomination " The best tourist event of a historical orientation ”- the festival“ War Games “Elbaden in Pestretsi.

Third place for the best idea of ​​a tourist event was given to the Kirmen Zhien festival from the village of Srednye Kirmeni. In addition, the IV All-Russian festival “Skorlupino”, which was held in Pestretsky, was awarded with a diploma of the third degree for the best event of rural and agrotourism.

The results of the National Event Tourism Award Russian Event Awards 2019 were announced the day before in Samara, where the finals of the prestigious competition took place.

217 projects from 51 regions of Russia, as well as Belarus and Latvia took part in the final of the eighth award in a row. In total, 683 projects from 72 regions of the country fought for the honorary award. According to the founder of the prize Gennady Shatalov, in recent years, competition and the scale of the proposed projects have significantly increased. One of the objectives of the award is to popularize the “event tourism” direction, and to improve its investment attractiveness.
