In Ufa, the Tatar State Academic Theater after G. Kamal finished its tour by the performance "My White Calfack" staged by Farid Bikchantaev

A solemn closing of the tour was attended by  Chairman of the State Council of RT Farid Mukhametshin.

After greeting the audience, Farid Mukhametshin noted that the return tours of the theaters of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan have become a good tradition.

"Such cultural contacts make a great contribution to strengthening friendship and mutual support between the republics. The performances of our theater were watched not only by Tatars and Bashkirs, but also by representatives of other nationalities who were able to get acquainted with  original culture and spirit of the peoples of Russia. I think such tours should grow into a bigger festival, like the Days of Tatarstan in Bashkortostan and the Days of Bashkortostan in Tatarstan, "Farid Mukhametshin said, thanking the audience for showing interest in  Kamal theatre.

Chairman of the State Council expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Republic of Bashkortostan in  person of  Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultai Konstantin Tolkachev for hospitality rendered to the Tatar theater.

Konstantin Tolkachev, in turn, drew attention to the commonality of the Bashkir and Tatar cultures.

"There are not many people on the planet who are so close and related in spirit, culture and language, like Bashkirs and Tatars. And for centuries, there has been mutual interpenetration and mutual enrichment of our cultures. So, the first tours of the Tatar theater in Ufa, namely the "Sayar" troupes, took place back in 1910. It is gratifying to note that the Tatar Theater named after Kamal adequately continues these glorious traditions laid more than 100 years ago, "said  Chairman of the State Assembly - the Kurultai of Bashkortostan.

We remind that  the tours of the Tatar Academic Theater named after G. Kamal were held from 13 to 19 September in Ufa on the scenes of the M. Gafuri Bashkir State Academic Drama Theater and the State Academic Russian Drama Theater of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Kamalovtsers  presented ten performances, which the Ufimians saw for the first time. As the artists note, the spectators of Bashkortostan very warmly received them. The tour shows ended on the eve of the production  "My White Calfack".

The performance was also attended by  Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova, chief  director of the Tatar State Academic theatre  after  G. Kamal  Farid Bikchantaev, Artistic Director of the GARDT RB Mikhail Rabinovich and Artistic Director of BGATD after  M. Gafuri Oleg Khanov.
