Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the laureates of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan after G.Tukai

The laureates  of the Republic of Tatarstan State Prize after  Gabdulla Tukai   have been  awarded today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The ceremony took place at  the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre   after  M. Jalil.  The event was attended by the State Advisor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Vice-Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova, members of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Office of the President, heads of the republican ministries and departments, and others.

After welcoming the guests of the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan today marks  three big events: 130 years since the birth of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai, Mother Language Day and the presentation of the RT State Prize  after  G. Tukai.

"The issues of preservation of national traditions and language  today  should be   paid a special attention. We in this part  have  a lot of work. Therefore, such events  are  very important for the Tatar people ", - said the President of Tatarstan.

Further,  Rustam Minnikhanov    has  presented Tatarstan State Prize after  G.Tukai    to the  laureates of 2016.

The prize was awarded to  Nazip Ismagilov  for  shamails cycle lyauhi (paintings in Arabic font) with poetic lines by  G.Tukai,    and designs of mosque (Arabic calligraphy) "Yardem" in  Kazan and  the village  Shingalchi of the   RT Nizhnekamsk district.

Writer Gazinur Muratov was awarded the highest prize for the book "Kosh hokuky: shigyrlyar һyam poemalar" ("Bird rights:  verses and  poem").

Prize also awarded a group of authors for the creation of artistic and spatial exposure installation "Bulgarian civilization. The road  by  length in a Millennium.

 

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all the laureates  and wished them good health and success in the work. After that, a festive concert  took place.
