Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan began in Moscow

During the week, residents of the capital will get acquainted with the traditions and history of the Tatar people. This year, events are dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar ASSR and the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The traditional Days of Tatarstan Culture in Moscow were opened with the musical comedy "Biu purye" ("Enchanted by the dance"). Online broadcast of the production of the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G.Kamal  took place in the hall of the Tatar Cultural Center. Tonight, the artists will present to the residents of the capital "Ak Kalfagym Tosherdem Kuldan" ("My White Kalfak").

The Days of Culture events will last until August 18. So, tomorrow there will be a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the great figure of Tatar culture - the poet Gabdulla Tukai, at the Donskoy cemetery - the ceremony of transferring a capsule with earth from the burial place of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel General Vasily Nikolayevich Gordov to representatives of the Menzelinsky district, in the Tatar cultural center of Moscow - solemn stripe of the coat of arms of Moscow on the flag of the 100th anniversary of the Tatarstan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and a creative evening of poets of the Republic of Tatarstan. The program on August 16 - the final of the Moscow regional round of the International beauty and talent contest "Tatar Kyzy-2020". The winners will represent the region at the International Competition of the same name. On August 18, a monument to Soviet intelligence officers Iskhak Akhmerov and his wife Helen Lowry will be unveiled at the Khimki cemetery; a little later, a flower-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier will take place in the Alexander Garden. After lunch at the State Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val, the exhibition “Masterpieces from Kazan. From Roerich to Kandinsky ”. The State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan will exhibit 48 of the best works of artists of the Silver Age and the Russian avant-garde. And the main event will be a concert of masters of arts and creative collectives   of the Republic of Tatarstan at the Moscow International House of Music (Svetlanov Hall).
