President of the Republic of Tatarstan: Rural houses of culture should become a point of attraction for people, contribute to the preservation of culture

12 August 2020, Wednesday

Today, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, as part of a working trip to the Tetyushsky district, visited the Kirtelinsky Кural House of Culture, which was repaired  as part of the republican program for  overhauling  cultural facilities. The building, constructed almost half a century ago, was badly dilapidated inside and out, and least of all resembled a "center" of culture. Today the House of Culture is a real center of the village, bright, comfortable and modern. The specialists insulated the building, made a beautiful facade, replaced the roof, windows, floors and stage, finished  walls and ceilings, renewed  electricity and heat supply systems, installed water supply, and landscaped  territory. In addition, the premises became accessible for people with disabilities: a special toilet and a ramp at the entrance appeared.

During the inspection of the house of culture,  President of the Republic of Tatarstan stressed that it is important not only to renovate the buildings, but also to fill it with content. “Rural houses of culture should become a point of attraction for people, contribute to  preservation of culture,” he said.  President of Tatarstan drew attention to the fact that different national associations found a place in the club.

By the way, today there are 9 club formations in the RHC, in which about a hundred people are engaged: the Mordovian folklore ensemble "Chivgane", the vocal group "Sudarushka", the theatrical association "Teremok", the family club "Family values", the art "Merry Colors" , DPI "Skillful hands", "Paper fantasies (origami)", weekend club "Sitting", book club "Pochemuchki".

According to the district administration, now the renovated culture house has all the conditions to hold holidays, rehearse, perform and even hold regional and zonal stages of large republican creative festivals. In particular, they are planning to host the participants of the regional regional festival "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk". Children from nearby villages will find it convenient to come here and enjoy performing on a beautiful stage.

In Tatarstan, large funds are allocated for  development of infrastructure: from 2015 to 2019, as part of the program for repairing  cultural facilities, overhaul of 196 facilities was carried out for a total amount of more than 1.5 billion rubles. In 2020, in the Republic of Tatarstan, it is planned to build 17 and overhaul 37 rural houses of culture for a total amount of over 707 million rubles.
