A traveling exhibition of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - Republic of Tatarstan: Time, Events, People” travels through cities and regions

These days, the exhibits of the mobile exhibition of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - Republic of Tatarstan: Time, Events, People” are presented in the art gallery of Naberezhnye Chelny. After the exhibition will move to Mendeleevsk, on July 17 it will open in the Palace of Culture named after   Sergey Gassar. And from August 25, residents of Nizhnekamsk will be able to get acquainted with the exposition at the exhibition hall of the Integrated Museum of the city on Stroiteley Avenue, 14.

The traveling exhibition of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - Republic of Tatarstan: Time, Events, People” was created as part of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan “On Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” of September 25, 2015.

The exposition contains historical documents (map “Idel-Ural State”, poster “Proclamation Idel-Ural State”); photographs of Tatar public figures who stood at the origins of the republic - G. Sharaf and G. Iskhaki, chairman of the Commissariat for Muslim Affairs of Inner Russia M. Vakhitov, chairman of the Central Muslim Commissariat of the People's Commissariat of the RSFSR M. Sultan-Galiev, chairman of the Provisional Revolutionary Committee and chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of TASSR S Said Galieva; project for the creation of the Tatar-Bashkir Soviet Republic; first state symbols.

A separate section is presented by documentary materials on the formation of the Republic of Tatarstan, the adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of 1990 and the Constitution, as well as the activities of the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan M.Sh. Shaimiev and President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov.
