Tatarstan citizens appreciate the performances by finalists of the federal district project "Theatrical Volga Region"

On the channel "Tatarstan - New Century" broadcasts of performances that have won a regional stage of the festival "Theater Volga". Each is assigned a serial number (from 1 to 14 for student theaters, from 15 to 28 for school theaters), which is displayed on the screen. The performances are included in the daily broadcast schedule until October 28 inclusive. The start of the show can be found on the website of the television company, as well as in the social networks of the project.

We   remind  from Tatarstan, the student’s performance “Parking”, based on the play by the young Kazan playwright Syumbel Gafarova, and  production of the school theater studio “RIF” (Naberezhnye Chelny), “Once Upon a Dog” based on the play by George Khugaev, were included in the district stage of the festival.

The final vote will take place in November 2019. According to the rules of the contest, residents of the republic will not be able to cast their votes for Tatarstan productions, but they have the opportunity to support them on social networks now using  hashtag #theatrical volga. You can choose for the best performance by the toll-free number 8 800 350-35-43, by dialing its serial number.

We  remind  that the project “Theater Volga Region” is being implemented on the initiative of  Plenipotentiary Representative of  President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov. The event is held to engage young people in the theatrical environment  to expand  cultural horizons,  formation of humanistic and patriotic values, as well as create new incentives for development of youth theatrical art.

The large-scale theater marathon brought together 483 theater groups (114 student (youth) theaters and 369 school theaters) from all regions of the Volga Federal District. The total coverage of the participants amounted to 120,000 people, including the number of theater actors who took part in the productions - about 7,000 people, the number of spectators who attended the competitive performances - 114,725 people, the organizers of the competition report.
