Peoples artist of the TASSR, Hadzhar Shakurova, passed away

The theater community of Tatarstan suffered an irreparable loss. In the 79th year of her life, the people’s artist of the TASSR, Shakurova Khadzhar Zakirovna, died.

Khadzhar Shakurov was born on June 26, 1940 in the village of B. Saba,  Sabinsky district, TASSR. From 1963-1964 worked in the Puppet Theater, from 1964 in the Republican Mobile Theater (now the Theater of K. Tinchurin).

One of the significant roles of the artist in the first decade of work in the theater was Aigul - “ The Country of  Aigul”   by M. Karim. During these years, she played Alfiya -     by V. Saifullin's “Snowdrop”, Camilo - “Haji is getting married” by S. Kamal, Tamara - “The inventor” by V. Rozov, Tonya - “Do not forget me, the sun”    by I.  Abdullina  other.  On  her account dozens of diverse roles. Separate attention is given to the age-related heroines of the actress: the whimsical Murshida - “The Flows” by T. Gizzat; sly, playful Zihan - “Arshin mal Alan” by U. Hajibeyov, cheerful Zhanina - “A funny case” by K. Goldoni; lonely Dilbar, in her old age, agreeing to the adventure of a friend and submitting an announcement to the marriage bureau - “Marriage by Announcement” by V. Konstantinov, B. Racer; survived the war, Leningrad blockade Flyura - “The widow's steamer” I. Grekova and dozens of other roles that have won the love, appreciation of the viewer.

Activity h.z. Shakurova was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of TASSR (1979), People’s Artist of TASSR (1991).

Hadzhar Zakirovna had enormous prestige in the theatrical community of the republic, among her colleagues and friends, was an example of devotional service to the theater and acting art.

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan expresses sincere condolences to the family and friends of Hajjar Shakurova and shares  bitterness of irrecoverable loss.
