Days of Tatarstan in Harbin ended with a concert of the State Symphony Orchestra

Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to the People's Republic of China.                                                                         

The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan includes  Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova and other officials.

Immediately upon arrival in the People’s Republic of China, an official meeting was held between President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Heilongjiang Province Governor Wang Wentao. It was attended by  Consul General of Russia in the city of Shenyang Sergey Chernenko, members of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Heilongjiang Province.

 “We value a current high level of relations with China and pay great attention to expanding our comprehensive relations aimed at strengthening Russian-Chinese friendship and cooperation. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping attach great importance to cooperation at the regional level. The current and next years are declared the Years of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and China. This is a good opportunity to build ties between regions and municipalities, ”Rustam Minnikhanov noted during the conversation and continued:“ Tatarstan is actively cooperating with Chinese partners. We have a constant exchange of delegations. I visit China several times a year. Last year I visited 6 provinces: Zhejiang, Fujian, Shanghai, Shandong, Tianjin, Guangdong. Our republic has signed 7 agreements with Chinese provinces and 14 agreements between municipalities. We cooperate with the provinces of Shandong, Sichuan, Hunan, Anhui, Zhejiang, Chongqing and, of course, Heilongjiang. ”

Further, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and the Governor of Heilongjiang Province, Van Wentao, took part in a business forum "Tatarstan - Heilongjiang".

President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the participants for their interest in Tatarstan and expressed confidence that during the visit business circles would open new areas for interaction and agree on joint projects: aimed at strengthening contacts between Russia and China. Tatarstan has always attached great importance to the development of cooperation with China in the framework of relations between the two states. The governments and business circles of our countries are making efforts to expand cooperation in various fields, ”he said.

The Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the 6th Russian-Chinese EXPO-2019 in Harbin ended with a concert by the State Symphony Orchestra.

The concert of art masters of the Republic of Tatarstan in Harbin was opened by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Heilongjiang Province Governor Van Wentao. The President wished on behalf of all Tatarstan people well-being and prosperity to  hospitable Chinese people: “Today we will show you a vivid example of the culture of the Tatar people and our country. We hope that this evening you will be remembered and will become another link between our peoples. I am confident that the development of cooperation will contribute to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China. Thank you for participating in this holiday and I wish you a pleasant viewing of the concert, ”he said.

The State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan under the direction of the conductor maestro Alexander Sladkovsky, in addition to the world-famous works by  Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Camille Saint-Saens, Charles Gounod, presented the music by  Nazib Zhiganov, Fuat Mansurov, Reseda Akhiyarova and other authors to the attention of Chinese listeners. The one and a half hour concert, which passed in the same breath, ended with stormy applause from grateful spectators.
