Today Moscow train of the Moscow Easter Festival with the world-famous conductor Valery Gergiev has arrived in Kazan

The capital of Tatarstan became the sixth point in the large-scale route itinerary  of the XVII Moscow Easter Festival - a record musical marathon will last 32 days.

In the first car - maestro Gergiev himself, the rest are occupied by musicians and there is a special "personal" car for instruments.

On the platform of the railway station "Kazan-1" he was met by   First Deputy Minister of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Elvira Kamalova,  director of  the Big State Concert Hall  after/ S. Saidashev    Inga Novikova and  head of the Culture Department of Kazan city executive Azat Abzalov, as well as journalists.

In the capital of Tatarstan the renowned collective will give 2 concerts at 15.00 and 19.00,  the  Kazan concerts are included in the symphony program of the forum.

We remind  the XVII Moscow Easter Festival is supported by the Moscow Government, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Blessing by  His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.

The grand opening of the music forum took place on Easter Day, April 8, in Moscow, from where the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater, led by Valery Gergiev, went on one of the biggest tour tours in the history of the festival. The musicians plan to overcome more than 20,000 kilometers of the road and cover with their performances almost 30 cities of Russia.

The soloists, the chorus and the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev, the Stradivari Ensemble and the Brass Ensemble of the Mariinsky Theater, as well as pianists Son Zhin Cho, Denis Matsuev, Behzod Abduraimov, violinists Christophe Barati, Erik Silberger, Lorenz Nasturika- Gershovich, Pavel Milyukov, cellists Narek Akhnazaryan, vocalists Eva-Maria Westbrook, Albina Shagimuratova Participants of the Atkins Program - Aigul Khismatullina, Angelina Ahmedova, Vladislav Kupriyanov, Anna Muradyan, Ekaterina Sannikova, Anastasiya Shchegoleva  and many others.

The culmination of the festival will be a concert of the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev on Poklonnaya Hill on May 9 on the Day of the Great Victory.

(2002-2018)

This largest music forum in Russia annually attracts hundreds of thousands of listeners. Created in 2002 on the initiative of artistic director and director of the Mariinsky Theater Valery Gergiev and the Moscow Government, the Moscow Easter Festival immediately won the public's love.
