The expanded meeting of the board of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin. The meeting was held in the building of the Tatar State Philharmonic named after Gabdulla Tukay and was devoted to the results of work in 2017 and tasks for 2018. The main speaker was Ayrat Sibagatullin, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"Undoubtedly, in the history of not only Tatarstan, but also Russia, 2017 will enter as the year of inclusion of the Assumption Cathedral and the Mother of God Uspensky Sviyazhsky Monastery on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This is the third object of the republic, whose universal cultural value was recognized at the world level, "the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan began his speech.

"Despite the objective economic difficulties of recent years, the budget financing of the industry is stable," he continued. - According to the results of 2017, the consolidated budget expenditures for the cultural sector are 13.7 billion rubles, of which 8.9 billion rubles from the republican budget, and 4.8 billion rubles from municipal budgets. To fulfill state tasks and the content of 61 subordinated institutions, more than 2 and a half billion rubles (2.503 billion rubles have been directed.

In addition to the current activities, the leadership of the republic supported all proposals by the Ministry of Culture on the organization of tours and staging activities, holding festivals, concerts, anniversary events, exhibitions, increasing the size of presidential grants, supporting creative unions, socially-oriented non-profit organizations, purchasing works of art, literature for libraries, awarding prizes in the field of professional art ".

A lot of money was spent to support appeals of municipalities, federal universities, public associations and individuals, to carry out activities on inclusive creativity and education, to implement state national policies and broad international activities.

A pleasant news at the meeting was the initiative to pay a lift for young specialists of culture in the countryside. At present, the Ministry is working on the preparation of relevant regulatory and legal acts.

 

He noted the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the exceptional support from the republic's leadership in the repair of buildings where cultural institutions are located. Many of them are objects of cultural heritage.

Thus, the restoration of the Krestovnikovs' House (the production base of the Kamal Theater), the House of Venetsianov (the educational building of the Kazan State Conservatory), the Buildings of the Union of Composers, the Palace of Culture of Lenin, the Gallery of Modern Art in Elabuga are completed. Repair work was carried out in the Tatar Youth Theater, the Tatar State Philharmonic.

Large-scale repair and restoration works are going on in the Museums of Gabdulla Tukay, Sharif Kamal, Salikh Saidashev, at the Kazan Kremlin in the building of the presence and consistory, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Gallery of Modern Art, the Kazan Circus, the National Library and the National Museum of the Republic, the Culture and Sports Center "Moskovsky", Shishkin House-Museum in Elabuga, Nizhnekamsk Tatar Drama Theater.

Decisions have been taken to use the Mihlyaev-Dryablov House, where after the restoration the educational center of the Museum of Fine Arts will be located, along the building of the city magistrate, in which the cultural and exhibition center of the Russian Museum will be opened. Also, a decision was taken on the comprehensive modernization of the Kazan Theater of the Young Spectator.

On behalf of all employees of the sector, RT Minister of Culture Airat Sibvagatullin thanked the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, the State Council and the Government of the Republic, and personally the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin for his constant attention to the industry and the serious financial support provided in 2017.

"It should be noted that far from every region can send such considerable funds to the development of culture. In this regard, one of the most important issues of 2018 is to strengthen state and public control over the effectiveness of investing budget funds, "the speaker said.

"The maximum of our work is the formation of human capital from the standpoint of economic efficiency.

Therefore, the figures for 2017, such as 7.5 thousand events held, the production of 70 new performances, in general participation in cultural events of about 10 million people - speak for themselves.

Even a short period of winter vacations showed an unprecedented stir from the people. 273 thousand people visited state museums, 50 thousand people - theatrical and entertainment institutions, 40 thousand became participants of events organized by the Ministry of Culture in the framework of the festival "Winter in Parks and Squares". This can not but rejoice and speaks of the demand for a cultural product in the republic, "the speaker summed up.
