November 30, 2017 in Kazan will start a joint project with the Moscow Museum of Modern Art - a large series of lectures on the history of art.
For the first time Kazanians will be offered a full annual cycle of lectures on the art of the late XIX-early XXI centuries. The goal of the course is to bridge the gap in education associated with the absence in the program of many creative universities in Kazan modules on the history and theory of art XX (mainly its second half) - XXI centuries. Lecturers will be delivered by Russian art historians, art critics and curators - staff of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and invited specialists. Each of them - a specialist of individual periods, trends and styles, capable easy to tell about the complex nuances of art.
The first lecture module (7 lectures) is devoted to Western European art, and the first lecture will be held on November 30 at 18:00 in the main building of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan (Karl Marx street, 64, 2nd floor).
